King Khanid soon to be assassinated?
This is what I thought was going to happen, but it appears that I'm wrong. And I'm glad for that of course, but as a Khanid I must say I have strong feelings regarding the maintenance of the Khanid Kingdom's independence.

Why do people think he was going to be assassinated? Would it work something like .. invite the guy to Amarr space and bump him off ..when relations have been at an all time high?
While Abrazzar does have a point, for me it has more to do with slight paranoia along with the recognition that New Eden is a ruthless place, and that it seems like the worst thing that could happen. Also there is a underlying desire to see Khanid reach it's full potential as an independant, and fully leave the umbrella of the Amarr Empire. If King Khanid had been assassinated then it would have excelerated things.
Also given that I work for Khanid agents I would love to see some Navy Ships in our lp store :p

Edited by: Opera Noir on 03/06/2009 21:54:01 Is Empress Jamyl married? These news items are making me wish that I knew a bit of the fluff.

I don't think so but the rumour thats in the RP channel is that he may marry Lady Tash-Murkon (I didn't start the rumour - I'm just spreading it)
Well given the borders of the two territories that would be an intresting merger. It would also create a rather large power block within the Empire. I have been reading a History on the war of the Roses and cant help but consider what the consequences of what such a merger might be. Perhaps though, Empress Jamyl feels very secure in her power.
